Residency: Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, Rural Training Track- Caldwell, ID

 

Areas of Interest: Travel and Wilderness Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Rural Family Practice, Occupational Medicine, Toxicology, and Epidemiology.

Dr. Brandenburg (Bill) loves to travel and explore. He has been involved in epidemiology, travel, and wilderness medicine research for several years. When he is not at Wander, Bill takes care of sick patients in rural critical access hospitals. He enjoys traveling, gardening, ecology, outer space, aviation, trying to climb mountains in the summer, and attempting to ski down them in the winter.

BA:  Integrative Physiology, University of Colorado- Boulder, CO

RN-BSN: Denver College of Nursing- Denver, CO

Past experience: Medical Surgical Neuroscience Inpatient Ward; Pediatric Intensive Care Unit; Extensive Travel; Multiple Medical/Service Outreach Trips to Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana, and Guatemala.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, AWLS

Areas of Interest: Travel Medicine, Immunizations, and Intravenous Infusion Therapy.

Karlee is a well-trained and compassionate nurse that would like to help you stay healthy when at home and while traveling. She has explored 6 out of 7 continents with hopes of traveling to Antarctica before age 50. She is happiest among the flowers and enjoys wilderness adventures, playing tennis, attempting to golf, tending to her greenhouse, and reading about strange diseases.
